Tarago War Memorial

This small vigil pays respects to those who fought in the War.

wars, conflicts, battles, occupational forces
and Peace Keeping missions for Australia.

Dedicated on April 15, 2001
during the centenary of Federation celebrations.”

Tarago Cemetery Peace and Reflection Garden

This beautiful garden displays a stunning mix of native and naturalised shrubs and trees in Tarago Cemetery.

Tarago Railway Station

Goulburn St, Tarago NSW 2580

 Tarago station opened on 3 January 1884 and it served as the terminus until the line was extended to Bungendore on 4 March 1885.

The Loaded Dog Hotel

Wallace St, Tarago NSW 2580

Built in 1848, this historic hotel was once a common stop for bush rangers such as Frank Gardiner, Ben Hall and the Clarke Brothers.
