Tarago Landcare Group is a community based group open to all those who care about the environment.
What is Landcare?
Landcare is great for people and the community. It is about getting people together to tackle big and small environmental projects, share knowledge, learn new skills and, of course, to have fun!
What do we do?
All Landcare groups decide what they would like to focus on and what is important to their community. The sort of activities Tarago Landcare group enjoy include:
Projects to improve and enhance our town centre and environs;
Workshops to learn about weed control, erosion management and sustainable farming practices;
Tree planting days to create wildlife corridors;
Why get involved?
There are many positive benefits of Landcare for both group members and the community. By joining you will get to meet like-minded people; help build and beautify Tarago; learn new skills; get active and enjoy the great outdoors!
Membership details
You can become a member of Tarago Landcare just for $5 annually or $10 annually for a family membership. To join, please complete the membership form and return it to taragolandcare@gmail.com.
